Welcome to CodeBioFutures!

This website is dedicated to helping high school students like you explore the exciting world where biology and computer science intersect. Here, we aim to provide you with valuable information, resources, and insights into the diverse career options available in this growing interdisciplinary field. As a high school student myself, I know how important it is to have access to reliable and engaging content that helps us navigate our academic and career paths. With CodeBioFutures, I hope to make that journey a little easier for all of us.

Now, let me introduce myself! My name is Gabriela Butler, and I’m a junior in high school with a passion for math, science, biology, engineering, and computer science. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been curious about how things work and how I can use my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the world.

As I went deeper into my studies, I became increasingly fascinated by the potential of combining biology and computer science. I realized that these two disciplines have the power to drive incredible advancements in areas like biotechnology, genomics, and bioinformatics, ultimately improving lives and shaping our future. However, I noticed that there weren’t many resources specifically tailored for high school students who wanted to learn more about these interdisciplinary fields and the career options they offer.

That’s when I decided to create CodeBioFutures. My goal is to help students like me get a head start in understanding the potential of biology and computer science and to inspire the next generation of innovators, researchers, and problem-solvers. Through this website, I hope to create a supportive community where we can learn, share, and grow together.

When I’m not studying or working on CodeBioFutures, you can find me participating in my school’s volleyball team, playing soccer, reading books and playing board games with my family. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I’m always eager to discover new things and share my experiences with others.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure!

I can’t wait to see where our exploration of biology and computer science takes us. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, let’s unlock the incredible potential at the intersection of these two fascinating fields!
